The backstory as to how and why a song was written can really be fun and interesting. Ed has put together this book "Notes from a Songwriter" that starts at the beginning of his writing in the later years and from the resurgence back into playing music after a long hiatus. All of the lyrics from the songs he wrote beginning in 2013 up to 2021. * A second book is in the works, to catch up with his last four albums.
